about the host
Dr. Lisa Coplit is the Associate Dean for Faculty Development at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. She was trained as a general internal medicine physician and understands the life of a busy clinician educator. She developed the TOLD ME podcast to create an easily accessible and convenient way for busy faculty to engage in professional development related to their teaching roles. She imagined a busy faculty member leaving their practice or the hospital at the end of the day and listening to an episode on the way home. Learning about podcasting has been a new and interesting step in her own professional development and she enjoys getting feedback and ideas for podcast ideas from colleagues.
