about the hosts
Dan Bahl is a Quinnipiac School of Journalism alumnus, who graduated with the Class of 2020. Dan launched the Quinnipiac Athletics Podcast in the fall of 2018, a show aimed at highlighting the best and brightest student-athletes and staff members from the Quinnipiac Bobcats athletics program. While at QU, Dan also served as the General Manager of the student radio station, WQAQ, and hosted the station’s “Show of the Year Award” winner, From The Bleachers, for four years. Currently, Dan is the Brand Manager at WTMM-FM 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio, and co-hosts the station’s afternoon drive talk show. Dan is the radio play-by-play announcer for the Albany FireWolves professional lacrosse team, and returns to Quinnipiac periodically to serve as the Color Analyst for Quinnipiac’s men’s and women’s hockey programs.
Matt McAuliffe is a Quinnipiac alumnus who graduate in the class of ’20. He took over as the co-host of the Quinnipiac Athletics Podcast his junior year and was able to help host and produce over 50 episodes for the podcast. He had the pleasure of interviewing athletes from all over the globe and getting to them away from their sport. Since graduating from Quinnipiac he went on to pursue a career in sports gaming to where he now works for the gambling giant of FanDuel. Matt now resides in Port Washington, New York and continues to follow all things Quinnipiac Athletics and hopes to continue to return to campus to catch as many games as he can.
